I got this app because I always spend way too much time trying to work out which photos I should upload and I love that this does it for me, and that I get to pick which vibe to go for! It’s so easy to use! It would be cool if it could also suggest some captions or tunes to go with the post 😍
Makes photo dumps so much easier!
Such a handy app! 😍 I always spend way too long choosing photos and deciding what order they should go in, so this makes the whole process so much easier. I also really like that it doesn’t edit or change your photos. It just helps sort them, then saves everything into a new album ready to post on whatever social media platform you use. Super simple and really useful.

Such a great app! Makes sorting through photos and putting together a photo dump so much quicker and easier. It put my photos in a great order, but I could still make little changes in the Adjust view to add my own personal touch. Super simple to use and has saved me so much time!

What is SortMyDump?
SortMyDump is a photo and video sorting app for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad that helps choose your strongest content and arrange it into a ready-to-post carousel, photo dump or social media post for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms.
Does SortMyDump work on iPad and iPhone Duo?
Yes. SortMyDump is on the App Store for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad. The app is built for iPhone, with an improved iPad layout and optimisations for iPhone Duo.
Is SortMyDump available on Android?
Not yet. SortMyDump is currently available only on the App Store for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad. I am looking into an Android version, but as a solo developer I cannot promise if or when it will come to Google Play.
Can I suggest a feature?
Yes. SortMyDump is built by one person in spare time, so I cannot promise every idea will be added, or when. Send it through the support form and I will add it to the list I look at when I next work on the app.
Is SortMyDump free?
Yes. SortMyDump is free to download and use on the App Store. If you enjoy it and want to support the project, you can buy me a coffee.
Does SortMyDump edit my photos or videos?
No. SortMyDump focuses on choosing and arranging your content. It does not apply filters, retouch images or change how your photos and videos look.
Can I edit my photos after SortMyDump has sorted them?
Yes. Once your selection is saved to a new album, you can edit the photos in Apple Photos, Lightroom or another photo editor. You can also upload the album directly to Instagram and use Instagram’s editing tools before posting.
Does SortMyDump post directly to Instagram?
No. Your sorted carousel is saved to a new album on your device in the correct order. You then upload it to Instagram or another social platform yourself, giving you control over any final edits, captions and changes.
Can SortMyDump sort videos as well as photos?
Yes. You can import both photos and videos when creating a carousel or photo dump.
How does SortMyDump choose what to include?
SortMyDump considers the photos and videos you import, along with the vibe you select, to help choose the strongest content and organise it into a carousel that works together.
Can I change the result?
Yes. You remain in control and can review, remove, replace or rearrange the selected content before saving your album.
Is SortMyDump only for Instagram?
No. Your finished carousel can be edited or shared through Instagram or any other social platform that supports photo and video posts.
What is a photo dump?
